Earth Day Arts & Climate Fair

  • Unitarian Society of Northampton and Florence 220 Main St Northampton (map)

Join us April 20th for an Earth Day Arts and Climate Fair as we name the changes we see in the world around us and celebrate the solutions at hand in our community if we are able to act together.

Ongoing Fair Activities 10AM-2PM:

  • Mothers* Rebellion Climate Circle: We'll be sitting together, engaging passersby, sharing our worries about our children's futures and the importance of acting together. Bring a sign with the name and age of a child you care about - and red yarn and needles if you want to help make crafts for a future action!

  • 3.5% Art Installation: Stop by the lawn of the Unitarian Society to explore this visual interpretation of the research that says if 3.5% of a population engage in nonviolent movements they can achieve political change!

  • Climate Organization Fair: Looking to find your place in the climate movement or to connect with others in the Valley? Get to know Extinction Rebellion, Trees as a Public Good, Climate Action Now, UMass Sunrise, the Youth Climate Leadership Program, Citizen's Climate Lobby, the Springfield Climate Justice Coalition, and more!
